As a girl living in Brooklyn, Zeva Bellel was fascinated by France. First it was the language, then the films. Her first trip to Paris, in lieu of a sweet sixteen party, made up her mind that she was meant to become Parisienne at some point in her life. A few years out of college she packed a suitcase, jumped on a plane to Paris, and never looked back. She’s lived and worked in Paris for 16 years in a roller coaster ride of an expat working life as beauty editor (Dutch Magazine), trend reporter (Winkreative), freelance writer (Monocle, T Magazine), and blogger (Paris By Appointment Only) until landing her dream job as Community and Marketing Director for Yelp France in 2010. Married to a Parisian musician and mother to a Franglais-speaking Dave Grohl-obssessed four-year-old boy, she lives in the exciting Canal Saint Martin neighborhood of the 10th arrondissement.
