Weekend Reading, July 24, 2015
This week for me felt too long for some reason. Perhaps it is because this was my daughter’s first week of Summer break from the halte-garderie and her nanny is on vacay in Brazil. This means for me long, hot Summer days trying to work with a two-year-old who cannot sit still and refuses to entertain herself. Still we had fun together with morning field trips like the Jardin des Plantes (pictured above), the pool, and the park. I would like to say I am ready for the weekend but really it will be more of the same for this SAH Working Mom. However I am looking forward to to Lucerne in a few days where I can check out and daydream while everyone speaks Swiss German, which is impossible to learn, and Noomi can run around with her Omi (grandmother) while I work, read, and chillax. Have a great weekend and enjoy these links that I loved this past week.
Did you know there is an alert for tiger mosquitos in parts of France? Eek!!
I need to incorporate these three tips because relationships are hard work man.
Ha! A good one to send to your friend who just had a baby, so she can pass it on to her baby daddy.
French kids probably don’t have a problem with this.
This sounds like many people I know.
I bet that I asked this acupuncturist all the questions you ever wanted to ask.
Need some inspiration for your next kid’s birthday party?
