Weekend Reading, July 10, 2015
The weekend is here and we are thinking about jetting off on a last minute weekend trip to faire le pont. For those of you who don’t know what that means, when a public holiday falls on a Thursday or Tuesday, most people take Friday or Monday off so they can enjoy a four-day weekend. Makes so much sense to me! Why go back to work after a day off when you can “make a bridge” and connect them all together! I love how the French think! Here are a few links from around the web you might find useful or interesting. Enjoy your long 14th Juillet weekend ( also known as Bastille Day outside of France) .
In case you are strolling around this weekend and want to know where to find some vintage and antique treasures.
I love a flowy swimsuit cover-up like this, I am all about drama at the beach.
Which is the most beautiful French village? I haven’t been to any of these but they have been voted the best.
And this area of France made it to the new list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. I have lots of traveling to do!
I should probably move this city to the top of my list since it was voted the best place in France to be happy.
And after these beautiful pictures I can see why.
This is just sad.
I know a few fearless single mothers like this who have picked up and moved to foreign countries.
If you read nothing else this weekend, read this.
Idea for a weekend trip?
Not sure we will be here this weekend but I have always wanted to party with the firemen!
