Weekend Reading

What have you guys been up to the past week? We are still in Switzerland and spent a few days in the city of Biel, which is part Swiss French and Swiss German. Today we are off to the Italian Swiss area of Ticino on the Lago Maggiore, which is a stone’s throw to Italy.  Interesting how many languages you encounter in this small country.

Noomi has been enjoying swimming in pools, lakes, and rivers while I chill on the side and watch. I am not a big river-lake swimmer,I just cannot get over my fear of what is under my feet. Working on it so the kid doesn’t end up with my silly fears, but might take a while.

This made me feel thankful for my own hearing and happy that others can have the same opportunity to hear for the first time thanks to tech advances.

Maybe I will add a few of these to my morning rituals.

Maybe if I kept this next to me, I would drink more water all day.
