Weekend Reading, July 3, 2015
As a Nigerian/Texan I can’t believe I am complaining, but this heat is no joke y’all! I walked my daughter home from the halte-garderie Wednesday and was drenched in sweat. It’s true that I love warm climates but heat in a city where air conditioning is basically non-existent…goodness! To hide from la canicule (heatwave), I spent a few days with the shutters (les volets) closed and had this soup for lunch a few days. This weekend we have to get out and brave the heat to take a friend on a few day trips close to Paris. What did you guys do to stay cool this past week? If you are heat hibernating this weekend, here are a few links from my open tabs you might enjoy. Oh and to our American family and friends: Happy Fourth of July!
Noomi’s second birthday party was featured over on camillestyle.com. I really love a party!
I have a driver’s license here, so it’s good to know about these changes.
I have a few to add to this list.
I love breakfast, but maybe I need to change my game plan and make it healthier.
Yeah Noomi is not too good at doing this either.
I just learned of this new super cheap way to get to CDG from central Paris.
