Going to keep this one short because we have a lot of activities going on this weekend. The Chinese New Year celebrations have begun so we need to get out of the house today. And we also need to find a mask for the Carnaval de Paris parade tomorrow. I have never actively celebrated either since being in Paris, so this should be a fun experience. Enjoy the weekend!

It’s interesting to see the results of the original Tiger Mom’s strict parenting.

But then Adam Grant says forcing kids to do what you want, practice for hours and enforcing many rules is no way to raise a creative child.

And just as my French is starting to improve the rules are about to change!

Barely started thinking about Valentine’s Day but if I can organize myself here are some fun DIY activities I might try.

And on Sunday snap your masks on and head out for Carnaval de Paris.
