Hey guys! I took a little break from Saturday Morning Manna because fashion week blew through with friends in town. I wrote a fashion week food diary for Tastebook, the food blog of Random House’s Clarkson Potter division. I am back now, but crazy weeks are still ahead for me.

My brother arrives in Paris today with his wife and my nephew. I am beyond excited to have family visit me because that rarely happens. Also my brother has never been on an airplane and almost never left Texas! This week I get to play tourist guide, and I think it will be quiet fun with someone who rarely travels. You can follow along on Instagram as I explore the city and take a trip to Etretat, one of my favorite trips close to Paris.

The day after my brother leaves, I am hosting my daughter’s 3rd birthday party. If you remember how I went a bit over the top for her last birthday, you can imagine that I am up to something crazy again this year. Then Spring officially arrives, Easter holidays roll up and March will be over! How did it all zip by so fast?

Last week I finally shared my Sancerre Travel Diary, which has encouraged me to work on a few others to share in the coming weeks.

We travel a lot and I finally shared my tips for traveling with kids as well as the checklist I work from.

This popped up on my facebook feed a few weeks ago and had me thinking about the girlfriends back home that I miss.

Scares me to think that teens don’t read anymore and I never want my daughter to turn out like this.

It’s amazing what you can learn from people over a messed up meal.

I am done with Starbucks.

Podcasts keep me highly entertained while I walk around the city, so I might try one of these.

 

This Weekend
My Parisian Life has some great ideas of things to do for the month of March.

I have been wanting to check out this Jazz & Gouter, but it’s always packed! Might try again especially since they are celebrating Michael Jackson!

And finally going to try the Guignol’s in the Buttes Chaumont this weekend with the fam.
