Saturday Morning Manna
This past week I have been in full-on detox mode. It’s kind of crazy because I find all the meals from the Annual Goop Detox pretty tasty, but detox in general is harder on me for social reasons. My weeks are usually full of meeting people at cafes or out for apero drinks…where I can’t have coffee, tea, or booze! I wasn’t able to meet for lunches or dinners either, but I can’t get out of a birthday party I have tonight. Guess I will be the one walking around with my wine glass full of water. Basically the best thing for me during a detox is to stay home, find time to meditate, exercise, and go to bed early.
I have a few days left before I head back out on book tour, but so far I have really enjoyed these salmon burgers with detox salad and curry. Have you ever detoxed? I would love to hear what your fav detox recipes are in the comments. I will definitely be folding these recipes into our regular meal rotation.
The weather has been crazy again so I took the little one to the Grand Galerie de l’Évolution and more important we registered her for école maternelle and checked out a few private schools in our area. Have you registered your children yet? The deadline is January 29, but be sure to check out our guide even if you have a baby and just want to know what you will have to do in a few years.
Here are a few links to enjoy reading this weekend. Have a lovely weekend.
Bisous xx, Ajiri
