Saturday Morning Manna
We are giving “Weekend Reading” a break and trying out Saturday Morning Manna for a while. It just sounds better don’t you think? Usually I like to lay in bed on Saturday mornings and scroll through blogs and news that I have missed for the week. (Full disclosure: I either have to get up mega early to enjoy this quiet luxury or put my husband on Daddy Duty.) I suppose it’s the grown-up version of Saturday morning cartoons, which don’t exist anymore.
This is our last weekend before my daughter goes back to her halte-garderie. (It is like daycare/mother’s day out) I couldn’t be more ready for this! Seriously!! I love my little lady, but I’m sure I have complained before about how challenging it is to get work done when you’re a Stay At Home Working Mother. Impossible some days. And the guilt stinks when I have to plop her down in front of the Ipad while I write and respond to emails.
So we plan to spend the last weekend enjoying the end of the quiet Paris. How about you? Have a lovely weekend and enjoy your Saturday Morning Manna News of interesting links I have rounded up this past week and suggestions for weekend activities.

There is so much we can all learn for ourselves and pass on to our girls from Mindy Kaling’s thoughts on confidence.
Love your blog as usual! I can relate to having time to do the things that you need to get done and still work! You must be doing a wonderful job because your work is excellent. I thought the article about confidence was on point. Women have been treated like they are not entitled for so long ! We sometime pass this negativity to our daughters.. ( In which I repent). Like the ole adage states ” Its the hand that rocks the cradle that rules the world”
That is indeed a great article and thanks for sharing this quote. Love it!
