Beautiful Treasures of the Paris Flea Market
I love Paris flea markets and antique stores. Rickety old tables piled high with beautiful 18th century porcelain plates and tea sets, blue and white chinoiserie and Dutch Delftware vases, elaborate chipped gold-leaf picture frames, slightly rotting wooden boxes, oversized baroque mirrors, and Hollywood Glamour-esque furniture waiting for DIY revival treatments, they get me all excited with endorphin-filled dreams of decorating and redecorating the apartment. Okay maybe that’s a bit overboard, but surely I am not alone?!
We will eventually get to a comprehensive rundown of the Paris flea markets here, from the puce to the brocante to the vide grenier. But until then, I thought I might occasionally share these images (aka Pinterest inspiration) of the beautiful treasures I find on my strolls. Also sharing puce pics might divert me from buying another stack of plates that I have nowhere to store!
More to come but enjoy this for now!
