Weekend Reading, July 31, 2015
This week I am in Lucerne, Switzerland with my in-laws. The weather changes every day from chilly, to blazing heat, to relentless rain. Somehow I do not mind it because the scenery is crazy beautiful. Yesterday we went on a five-hour hike up a mountain!! Miserably hard on this lazy city girl, but insanely beautiful and relaxing once we got to the top and busted out the bratwurst and beer. Hope Summer is coming along nicely for you. Enjoy these links that have been open on my Chrome all week, and have a lovely weekend.
I am not sure I agree with everything on this list.
In case you missed my favorite dessert to prepare for dinner guests.
If you are still in the Paris, check out Paris Plage and try the Petit Vélib.
And watch out for the big Velibers and other cyclists, especially as they can legally cross red lights.
Did you know that Kinder Surprise eggs are illegal in the United States?
This article really made me think about how motherhood is changing for women, like myself, who want to stay at home with their kids but also want to work.
My mother died when I was 12 years old, so I wonder all the time what kind of mother-daughter relationship I will have with my growing-up girl.
Beautiful Vistas! Looks relaxing! The hike well, I would never make it! 🙂
Yes the scenery is lovely but I barely made it myself! ha!
