Saturday Morning Manna
Well this week the change of weather hit us (the coldest it’s been in October for around 40 years) and I was completely unprepared. I have been dressing my daughter in Summer layers. On our walk to school this week I realized it was time for Fall clothes shopping when I noticed she was sitting on her hands to keep them warm. (Insert sad face). I have been a bit slow I know, but I have finally ordered some Fall boots so at least her feet won’t freeze.
MANNA Mamma Zeva Bellel, whose profile was wildly popular, suggested Les Fermes de Gally on her Paris List as a fun outing with kids, so that’s where we’re headed this weekend.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend and bon courage to those who started two weeks of Fall holidays with the kids! bisous xx, Ajiri
These new guidelines about kids and screen time make me feel a lot better about my parenting skills.
And this website will help me decide what apps and movies are appropriate for my child.
Now this is a fun and easy Halloween costume you can do at home. Or anytime of the year really.
I love this idea as a gift for teachers at the end of the year or for winter holidays.
This is a beautiful image and message for families who have been through IVF treatments.
This made me think about the work environment in the US versus France.
These are the Fall boots I ordered. Can’t wait to see the girl in them!
See animals, pick pumpkins and apples at Les Fermes de Gally.
Try something new from My Parisian Life’s list of things to do in October.
On Saturday or Sunday stroll around the brocante on Rue Faidherbe in the 11th. (Hosted by one of my preferred brocante organizations.)
Que Faire Paris has a great list of suggested things to do during the school holidays.
If you love photography, you will enjoy Karl Lagerfeld’s new exhibition that opened at the Pinacothèque de Paris this past week.
And for you vintage clothes lovers this is a good weekend stop.
